Robredo has already reached the quarter finals of Paris

Ferrero finishes the season with a defeat before the Czech Tomas Berdych in a very equal match. After two hours and 32 minutes, the Spaniard fell for 7-5, 6-7(7) and 6-4.


Madrid, November 3rd, 2005. Tommy Robredo had not any difficulty to defeat his opponent into the quarterfinals of the Masters Series of Paris, the ninth and last Masters Series of the season. Robredo entered into the court with a lot of security which was shown in his play and in the result. He defeated the Serbian Novak Djokovic for 6-4 and 6-3. With this result, he is the first Spaniard who is in the quarters of Paris. The only one that can accompany him is David Ferrer, who will face today the German is T. Haas.

Juan Carlos Ferrero, number 13rd head of series, has fallen before the Czech T. Berdych by 7-5, 6-7(7) and 6-4. This defeat has left him out of the Parisian tournament and out of the tournament of Shangai, although had few options to be classified. In spite of having very near the victory, Ferrero could not take advantage of the opportunities that had in the third set.
