Madrid, 2nd of September of 2005- Rafael Nadal, number two of the world, is already in the third round of the US OPEN, after almost two hours and a half to conquer the 372 of the classification, Scoville Jenkins. This American who only has a prior experience of five matches in the ATP circuit, complicated the Spanish play with a powerful service and the strength of his blows. Tommy Robredo, left on the way to Gustavo Kuerten for 5-7, 7-6(3), 6-3, 6-2. With an equal set, the resistance of the Brazilian was bent and the Spanish began to dominate the match. His next opponent will be the French Grosjean and, if he surpasses, he would face in eighth with Nadal. Carlos Moyá, Fernando Verdasco and Nicolas Almagro will play today at 17.00 hours in Spain. The first one will face the Italian Davide Sanguinetti. Verdasco, will meet with a weaker but not less important opponent, the Chilean Paul Capdeville.
