Albert Montañés will be included in the line-up for the eighth Masters Series of the season, which will take place in the Casa de Campo Trade Fair Park until 19th October. The draw was made this morning and the final preliminary round begins tomorrow. The player Sant Carles de la Rapita is also contesting the title as he benefited from Carlos Moya winning the wild card awarded by Marca’s readers. The Majorcan got his wild card thanks to the last-minute withdrawals of Ancic, Haas and Gicquel. It is the second time Montañés will be competing in the main draw of the Mutua Madrileña Masters Madrid. Last year, Montañés lost in the first round against the player from Madrid, Fernando Verdasco. Among his best results this season, the Catalan, Montañés was triumphant in Amersfoot, where he achieved his first title in the circuit. The Mutua Madrileña Masters Madrid will take place from 11th - 19th October on the courts of the Casa de Campo Trade Fair Park.
