TENNIS PLAYERS SUPPORT MADRID WITH THE BEST LINE-UP IN THE TOURNAMENT’S HISTORY
Due to an injury, Ancic will be the only absentee.

The Mutua Madrileña Masters Madrid will, this year, have the best player line-up it its history. Of the 38 best players in the world participating in the tournament, Mario Ancic will be the only absentee. “It is really amazing to see the line-up tonight and check that everybody will attend. We are hosting the crème de la crème here in Madrid. What else can you ask for? This year’s line-up is better than in a Grand Slam!” Manolo Santana commented proudly. Everybody: Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Murray, Davydenko, Ferrer, Nalbandian, Del Potro, Wawwrinka... Everybody is ready to kick-off on Sunday. The draw will be made tomorrow at 1 pm in the presence of Djokovic and Ferrer. We already know that Nadal will make his first appearance this year on Tuesday at 8 pm and Federer on Wednesday at the same time. The draw will determine the remainder of the match schedule but it is expected that Nadal and Moya will play their doubles match on Monday. |
