THE DAVIS CUP IS COMING

From 19th of September the Spanish team of Davis Cup will face the almighty U.S.A.


Madrid, September 10th, 2008. After the U.S. Open tennis all the attention moves to Madrid with the dispute from the weekend of 19th to 21st September from the Davis Cup semi-finals to face, one of them, the selection of Spanish with Nadal, Ferrer, Verdasco, Feliciano Lopez y Nicolas Almagro against the selection of United States with Roddick, Querrey and brothers Brian, authentic doubles specialists.

The meetings were held in the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas on clay, so the factor of the stadium and the surface are, a priori, for the Spanish team. With a capacity of 21,000 spectators the Spanish “Armada” will have all the support of the general public to get a position in the final. In the other semi-final will face teams from Russia and Argentina, also on clay, the place, the Rock Park located in the capital of the south American team, Buenos Aires.
