SPANISH TEAM ARRIVE TO PEKIN

Most of ATP tour players are in Beijing competing for a medal in the Olympic Games

Madrid, 7th August 2008. Spanish team arrived to Beijing few days ago. They did a press conference after their practice. Nadal, who will be on the Top of the ranking on August 18th, will face Italian Potito Starace in the first round. He could met Hewit, Davydenko or Djokovic to win a metal.

Tommy Robredo will play against Andreas Seppi, Ferrer against Tipsarevic and Almagro, who play his first Olympic Games, against French Gael Monfils.

Roger Federer of Switzerland will face the big-hitting Russian Dmitry Tursunov in the first round of the 2008 Olympic Tennis event in Beijing, as the World No. 1, who turns 27 on August 8, bids for his first major title of the season.

The Swiss has said an Olympic medal is a top priority after he failed to win a Grand Slam title this year for the first time in six years.
