NADAL WINS THE ROGERSCUP MEN


The Balearic still reaping tennis triumphs after achieving the Toronto Masters Series

Madrid, July 28th, 2008. Rafael Nadal, with each passing day, is getting closer to being the number one thanks to win the ATP tournament after tournament -seventh title of the season and fifth consecutive- and that the current leader of the classification, Roger Federer, not experiencing one of his finest moments after the last two defeats in the finals of Roland Garros and Wimbledon, just against Nadal.

Nadal, who next week could already proclaime number one, in just over an hour and a half game succeeded imposed on the German Nicolas Kiefer with a final score of 6-3 and 6-2. With 29 consecutive victories on the land of Hamburg and Roland Garros, the grass of Queens and Wimbledom or on the cement from Toronto, Nadal is confirmed as the best tennis player of the year 2008 and one of the best hopes of the Spanish team in the coming Olympic Games Beijing to achieve one of the metals at stake.
