RAFA NADAL ACHIVES HIS FIRST WIMBLEDON

After nearly five hours of play, Rafael Nadal ended imposed, the third consecutive final at Wimbledon, the world's number one and five times champion tournament, Roger Federer.


Madrid, 7th of July, 2008. A dream match of two players who probably none deserve to lose. But the sport is like that, always it has to be a winner and yesterday was the turn to Rafael Nadal. After 4 hours and 48 minutes match, Nadal managed to win the Wimbledon crown after beating the world number one, Swiss Roger Federer in a match that lasted for what historic and the game deployed by both players.

The end result was (6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-7 (8) and 9-7. The match had to be suspended twice by rain, the first with the first two sets Rafa won for a double 6-4 , which came to Swiss better to start loosening its right and draw as he knows after the resumption. The second, with two equal sets, two sets equal to 40 and tied the score in the third set with Federer kick. An epic final, with low visibility, but no one moved from the central Wimbledon. In the end the prize went to the
Spaniard who succeeds well in the same year won Roland Garros and Wimbledon equalling the record of Bion Borg.
